Welcome to the Thrive 16+
This service is for young people who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, and who may need different types of support. Find information, news and helpful resources about housing support for young people aged 16 to 25 in Somerset.
The service is run by:
- YMCA Dulverton, supporting young people in Taunton, Sedgemoor and West Somerset
- YMCA Brunel Group, supporting young people in Mendip and South Somerset
There are places to stay for young people who need high, medium or low levels of support. Altogether, there are 190 supported accommodation spaces across Somerset.
The service is funded by Children’s Social Care and Housing, and will run until 31 March 2029, with the option to continue until 31 March 2033.
