It brings together clear and helpful information for care leavers, their carers, and the professionals who support them.

The aim is to make it easier to understand what help is available and how to get it, at every stage of the journey.

Help when you are leaving care, including the Leaving Care team, Children and Young People’s services and employment and training support.

Support to move on from school into college, university, apprenticeships or work, including advice on education options and pathways into employment.

Finding somewhere to live

The different housing options, such as staying put, supported lodgings, care leavers’ houses, private landlords and support if you are homeless.

Help with money and benefits

Financial support that is available, how to get help with benefits, and simple money tips to help you manage your finances.

Get involved and make a difference

How you can take part, including care leaver champions, social groups, advocacy and ways to have your say and make a difference.

Health, wellbeing and staying safe

Support to help you look after your health and wellbeing, including emotional and mental health, sexual health, drugs and alcohol, and staying safe.
